At the beginning of this year, Poatek welcomed five new talented professionals to contribute to the company’s growth!
Leticia Caminha is our brand-new Financial Analyst. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a specialization course in Tax Management and Planning, both from PUCRS. Leticia’s career has developed from her work inside the accounting area of a supermarket, the financial sector of an app company, and now, her financial work at Poatek. She says that her expectations about Poatek are to achieve professional growth, always in constant learning. “I’m enjoying the company a lot since it’s a great environment to learn new things. Also, everyone here is so pleasant and cool!”, she says.
Gennaro Rodrigues is Poatek’s new Data Scientist. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Ph.D. in Microelectronics, both from UFRGS. Gennaro has worked before as a software intern in an aerospace and military company. Also, he has worked as a researcher in Microelectronics, Robotic and Informatics Montpellier Lab, in France. Gennaro says that Poatek is a modern and dynamic company, truly an excellent place to work. In his words: “the projects are motivating, and you can feel that everyone here has a real will to impact positively the society. These are just my first months, but it has been an amazing experience”.
Daniel Cunha is a Mobile Engineer at Poatek. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering at UFRGS. Daniel has worked before with desktop development in an application for the financial market and web development full-stack. About two years ago, he started to get interested in mobile applications, especially Android ones. He hopes to collaborate with the team with his problem-solving skills, exchanging knowledge with everyone else. Daniel believes that Poatek can help him to develop professionally, and, in his words: “I like Poatek’s culture, especially the way the company cares about the well-being of the employees!”.
Marco Backes is a Software Engineer at Poatek. Marco has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from PUCRS. He enjoys working with web technologies, like React, .NET, and others. Marco’s expectations about Poatek are to grow professionally and to deliver the best IT solutions for the company’s customers. “I’m enjoying working at Poatek, mainly because of its culture and the technologies we use here”, Marco says.
Diego Jardim is Poatek’s new Data Scientist. Diego has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from UFRGS, and he’s currently doing his Master in Computer Science at UFRGS. In the past three years, Diego has worked with research in computational vision. Besides, he has some experience with medical image processing. Diego has high expectations about working at Poatek. He believes that it will be a great opportunity to learn more about Data Science and hopes “to contribute to the projects I’m working on. In my area, things change very fast, and Poatek gives us the time to do research and to apply great technologies to develop the solutions we create”.
