We continue our growth! We have welcomed 6 new talented poatekers in the last month.
Bruna Soares, UI designer at Poatek! Bruna has a diploma in Multimedia Production from SENAC, and already has 7 years of experience with graphic and digital design, UX and UI. Here at Poatek she is enjoying the nurturing people and environment she found. “I see that Poatek cares with the well-being of poatekers and also their professional development. It’s a great company for those, like me, who like to have autonomy”. Bruna is expecting to learn and develop her competences with the team, as well as help them to do the same!
Fernanda Rohan is our brand new marketing intern! She is studying business management at UFRGS and has a double diploma in international business from Université Paris-Est Créteil. Fernanda has already interned in other companies’ marketing teams in Brazil and Portugal. Here at Poatek, Fernanda’s main responsibility is our social media, but she is always involved in other marketing initiatives! About the experience so far in Poatek, she said: “I’m really happy for joining Poatek’s team, I found here a great environment to learn and share knowledge with other teammates.”
Filipe Utzig, our new software engineer, holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from PUCRS and a post-graduate degree in software engineering from Unisinos. Before joining our team Filipe already worked for many years as a developer. At Poatek he is working with our data science team, as a software engineer! He found out a very cool and dynamic environment here, full of new ideas running everywhere, and with many people willing to help both customers and colleagues. His expectations for the future are to learn and grow together with the company, always looking for new ways to solve problems and improve the way we do things today.
Nikolas Freitas is now a software engineer at Poatek, and he is currently studying Internet Systems at IFRS! He has experience as a full-stack and front-end developer. In Poatek’s team, he is focusing on front-end applications. Here at Poatek Nikolas said that he feels like working in any giant tech company, with an open environment and many different benefits and projects. He wants to develop his technical knowledge with the teammates and create robust, reliable and high-performance front-end applications!
Pedro Foletto Pimenta is Poatek’s new data scientist. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from CPE Lyon and studies Computer Science at UFRGS. Pedro has had a few experiences as a research intern, working with machine learning, image processing and optimization in different contexts such as medical imaging, network optimization and autonomous vehicles reliability. In his words: “I am very excited to be working here because I am having the chance to work in extremely interesting projects. On top of that, everyone here is very motivated and competent, which makes working at Poatek much more pleasant.”
Ricardo Rauber joined Poatek as an iOS mobile engineer, and he holds a Bachelor’s diploma in Information Systems from ULBRA. Ricardo has a lot of experience to share, since 2004 he has been working with development, but started focusing on mobile development in 2010! So far he is enjoying the teammates, always friendly and open to share new ideas. Regarding his expectations here he said: “I believe we can work a lot together to develop ou mobile applications and make them a highlight in all app stores.”
