Introducing our new CFO, Rafael Dornelles

Continuing our growth journey in 2021, this year we welcomed our new CFO, who will play a key position in Poatek’s strategy and development. Rafael Dorneles is our new Chief Financial Officer, helping the company to continue its fast growth towards our mission of solving complex software technical challenges, delivering above-and-beyond client’s expectations.

Rafael Dornelles has a Bachelor’s degree in Business management from UFGRS and in Accountancy from UNIFIN, besides a specialization in Tax Law from PUCRS and an MBA in Finance and Controllership from UniRitter/Laureate International. Rafael started his career as an accounting auditor at Ernst & Young and has also worked in the financial area at Dell Technologies and AGCO Soluções Agrícolas, as an Analyst, specialist, and manager. Besides having the opportunity to work in two traditional groups in Rio Grande do Sul, the SLC Group (Agro) and the Herval Group, as Financial Manager.

Rafael also shared his expectations about his arrival at Poatek: “I expect to combine my experience with processes, policies and best practices – which I learned in large companies in the past – with Poatek’s entrepreneurial culture and technology DNA to generate an environment of financial results optimization, generating value for the company’s entire stakeholder community.”

We are very excited about this new chapter in our journey, and look forward to the next strategic steps we will take afterward. Poatek’s future in the technology market looks promising, and we are happy to continue with our premise of bringing the top1% from Brazil to work with us!
